KOEL Magazine will be hosting workshops during Boutique Fairs in Singapore and you can be part of this!
Call them weave catchers, circular wall hangings or round weaves… Put a spin to your classic woven tapestry by weaving on a brass ring! Learn the basic techniques of round weaving from Hila Eshel of Hili Studio. Hila is an expert yarn crafter and very experienced teacher. Her work has been featured in KOEL Magazine and many other craft publications.
By the end of the workshop you will have created your very own round woven wall hanging that you will be proud to display in your home. What to expect – Hila will teach you how to warp the cotton thread over a brass ring, plan your design, select colors & textures and different weaving techniques. With these skills at your fingertips, you can explore future woven projects at a grander scale.
